As
can be seen almost immeadiately from the checklist this is a departure
for Wills cigarette cards in depicting cinema stars from the golden age.
Obviously most cards show more
than one actor on them and are from a scene in a film.
Naturally the name of the film from which the scene is taken is also
written on the front of the card so I include that information here for
the sake of completeness.
An interesting
departure from the normal method of presenting cinema stars on cards
and more in keeping with the how the cinema audience would normally see
them.
It probably will not escape your
notice this is the set that contains Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse.
