Britain completely altered the balance of naval power when it came up with the dreadnought class. Almost overnight every other class of vessel was made redundant. This created something of an arms race and can be considered a contributing factor to World War One. Many of the vessels in this set met each other at The Battle of Jutland. A impressive set for the naval historians amongst us.
